Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter^[3] (born May 11, 1999) is an American singer and actress from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^[2] She starred as rebellious and beautiful Maya Hart, the best friend of Riley Matthews (portrayed by Rowan Blanchard) in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World and voiced Melissa Chase in the Disney Channel and Disney XD series Milo Murphy’s Law. She is a singer/songwriter other than being an actress.

in addition to singing the GMW theme song (with Rowan Blanchard) "Take On The World," she also sings the theme song for the series Andi Mack, "Tomorrow Starts Today."
She has five current studio albums, "Eyes Wide Open", "EVOLution", "Singular: Act I", "Singular: Act II" & most recently, "emails i can't send".
She guest starred on the Disney show Austin & Ally.
Her biggest inspirations are Adele and Christina Aguilera.^[4]
She has two sisters, Shannon and Sarah and a half sister Cayla.
Sarah, her older sister, plays "Sarah Carpenter (character)", a background student in many episodes of GMW.
Her aunt is noted voice performer Nancy Cartwright, who has also worked with Disney, but is primarily known for her role as Bart Simpson.
Her debut studio album "Eyes Wide Open" was released on April 14, 2015.
- Her debut EP "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying" was released on April 8, 2014.
Like Maya, Sabrina also had a pet named Ginger, but he was a cat, not a ferret.
Although her character Maya has been nicknamed "Peaches" by Riley, in real life Sabrina is allergic to peaches, as well as apples.
She and GMW co-stars, Corey Fogelmanis and August Maturo, were cast as the Darling siblings in a Christmas panto "Peter Pan and Tinkerbell: A Pirates Christmas" for the 2015 Christmas season.
She released her single "On Purpose" on July 29th, 2016.
Her musical inspirations are The Beatles, Hozier, Bruno and Adele.
She never attended high school.^[5]
She dated Good Luck Charlie and Mighty Med star, Bradley Steven Perry from 2014 to 2015.
She was a guest judge on Season 15 of Project Runway.
Her EVOLution tour started on October 18, 2016.^[6]
She and her sister, Sarah, can perform Anna Kendrick's "When I'm Gone," with plastic cups. ^[7]
Her tour ended on December 13, 2016. There was a rescheduled show that took place on December 19.
In May of 2017, Sabrina was a special guest on the Vamps UK tour.
Her music video for her single, Thumbs, was released on February 10th, 2017.
She was cast as "Jessica," a supporting role in So Close, a failed NBC comedic pilot for 2018 which filmed on April 11, 2018.
She released her single Alien in late March 2018.
She is featured on Alan Walker's single "On My Way", released March 21, 2019.
She was also cast in the dance-comedy film Work It, alongside Liza Koshy, in May 2019.
